About

The Mihăești Dendrological Park is an exceptional landscape gardening, the work of the illustrious initiator of national natural reservations - engineer Iuliu Moldovan. The park has an area of 65 hectares and is distinguished by numerous species of trees and shrubs of great scientific value. The Mihăești Dendrological Parkwas the only experimental resort in Romania until 1942. Iuliu Moldovan created in 1895, in Mihăesti, the first forestry office at the level of those in Europe, declared by Carol I as a model forestry office.
