The Vâlsan Valley –A protected area of national interest

The Vâlsan Valley Natural Reservation covers an area of 10.000 hectares. It represents an area of flora, fauna and landscape interest, located in the watershed of Vâlsan Valley, between Argeș and Lady’s River basin. The Vâlsan Valley is an excellent area for rest and relaxation, but also for trips and mountain hikes. Remarkable are the Vâlsan Gorges and Glades, where tourists have the opportunity to camp in the middle of nature, in a fairytale place.
