About

In the immediate vicinity of “Corbii de Piatră” Monastery, there is the household of Mother Uța. The blue-walled house reminds of other times and best presents the heritage of traditions and customs in the north of Argeș County. From the old beds to the cradle where Mother Uța raised her daughter, from the woven mats to the flower-filled porch, everything seems cut out of a childhood film. The house of Mother Uța is said to be the only one on earth with a natural waterfall in the garden. Around the blue little house, legends remind of the population that existed before the Flood - the famous giants.
